What is ChatGPT?
ChatGPT is OpenAI's conversational AI assistant for tasks such as writing, study, planning, coding, and file or image analysis. A ChatGPT export is a user-requested copy of account data that can include chat history for carrying conversations into another context.
How it works with Fortiana
A useful brief often develops over several exchanges: a first request, corrections, examples and a decision about what matters. The export preserves that discussion. Fortiana can use its conversation threads and metadata so the next question has access to the context written earlier, rather than starting from a shortened retelling.

How you can use it
For example, you can ask questions such as:
- Which requirements did I change during the discussion?
Compare the original request with later corrections and qualifications in the exported conversation. - What did I explicitly ask to keep unchanged?
Find the constraints written by the user and retain the context in which they were given. - Which decision was still waiting for my input?
Read the final exchanges for a question that remained open rather than treating every suggested option as accepted.
Prepare your export
- Prepare the relevant export. Obtain an export containing the conversations you want to bring into Fortiana.
- Check the history it contains. Review which threads are present and when the export was created, so you know its cutoff.
- Plan later additions. Use a newer export when you need to add subsequent conversations or changes.
An import captures the history present in the export. Later changes require a newer export; they are not added automatically.
Are model responses treated as verified company facts?
An exported response records what the model wrote. That is conversation history, not independent confirmation that the described company event or claim is true.
